About Alteza Healthcare
Built on five principles. Run by people who care.
Care, the way it should feel.
Alteza Healthcare was founded on a simple idea: people who need help at home deserve care that treats them like a person, not a checklist. After years working inside the home health and Texas Medicaid Primary Home Care (PHC) systems, our founders saw what good care could look like — and what too often it didn't.
We started Alteza to be the agency we wished existed. Small enough to know our clients by name. Disciplined enough to show up on schedule. Honest enough to keep families informed, even when there is hard news. And built around dignity — because that is what is missing most often, and what matters most.
"Alteza" is a Spanish word that means highness, loftiness, dignity. It is the standard we hold ourselves to, every visit, every client.
Why we exist
"We help people live safely and independently at home, with personal care that puts the person first — every visit, every client."
How we work
Alteza is built on disciplined operations and a leadership team with deep home care experience.
Experienced leadership
Our Administrator brings years of HCSSA leadership in home health and Texas Medicaid PHC. Operations, compliance, and care quality are overseen daily.
Trained caregivers
Every caregiver completes state-required PAS training, background checks, and ongoing supervision. We do not cut corners on who comes into your home.
Bilingual capability
Care plans, family conversations, and caregiver communication can all happen in English or Spanish — built into how we operate, not an afterthought.
Direct communication
Families have a direct line to the supervisor. No phone trees, no run-arounds. We tell you what is happening, when it is happening.
Five values, lived every day
Dignity
Every client deserves to feel respected and seen.
Reliability
We show up, every shift, every time.
Compassion
Warmth in every interaction.
Communication
We keep families informed.
Integrity
We do what we say we will do.
