Personal Assistance Services
Help with the daily tasks of living — so your loved one can stay at home.
What is PAS
Personal Assistance Services, explained.
Personal Assistance Services (PAS) is non-medical, in-home support designed to help individuals continue living in their own homes with dignity. PAS is a Texas-licensed category of home and community support services, regulated by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC).
Our caregivers help with the day-to-day activities most people take for granted — bathing, dressing, meals, mobility, light housekeeping — and provide the friendly, consistent presence that makes home feel like home.
Who qualifies for PAS?
- Older adults aging in place
- Individuals living with disabilities
- People recovering from surgery, illness, or hospitalization
- Individuals with chronic conditions needing daily support
- Anyone whose family wants additional help at home

Getting started
How it works.
Starting care with Alteza is straightforward. We meet you where you are.
- Free consultation. We talk by phone or in person. You tell us what is going on and what you need. No pressure, no commitment.
- In-home assessment. We visit your home, meet your loved one, and understand the day-to-day. We listen more than we talk.
- Care plan. We build a written plan tailored to your loved one's needs, preferences, and routines. You approve it before anything begins.
- Caregiver match. We assign a caregiver matched to personality, language, and care needs. You meet them before the first shift.
- Ongoing care, ongoing check-ins. We stay in touch — you stay informed. Care plans adjust as needs change.
